Steel fibre 1/50 and 1/60 is used for concrete’s micro-reinforcement, or as a homogeneous fibre reinforcement, especially in concrete for production of industrial floors and communication surfaces, as well as non-constructional prefabricated elements.
Depending on the designed concrete’s properties, steel fibre 1/50 and 1/60 can be added in quantity from 25 to 35 kg for cubic metre of concrete.
In concrete containing steel fibre, natural aggregates with the grin’s diameter up to 16 mm can be used. The concrete’s class shouldn’t be less than B25, and water :cement  ratio shouldn’t be more than 0,6. In order to reduce water, chemical admixtures can be used, with no risk of steel fibre’s corrosion.
Constructions and products made of concrete containing steel fibre should be maintained in the same way as products and constructions of plain concrete.
Steel fibre has technical approval of Building and Research Institute.
